Kia is a board certified nurse practitioner and Founder of LushRX Aesthetics. She believes that the heart of every patient interaction must be rooted in mutual respect and joy. Medical Aesthetics are FUN, lets act like it! She takes pride in creating an welcoming space to make procedures less intimidating. Kia has worked in health care since 1998, in Primary Care since 2005, before developing a passion for aesthetic nursing in 2018. She specializes in non-surgical facial aesthetics and has extensive training in neuromodulators and fillers. Kia’s specialty is working collaboratively with you to create a personalized plan. Kia’s aesthetic is natural, elegant, healthy but never “done”. Her reviews reflect this as she is known for her gentle and subtle approach to rejuvenation. She enjoys collaborating with clients to cultivate a bespoke solution for their concerns. 

“I became interested in aesthetics after my daughter was born. I had a newly diagnosed 2yo with Autism, a husband in grad school and a full time primary-care NP panel of patients. Honey… I was TIRED, and I looked it. My first trip to a MedSpa gave me great results but in an environment that felt cold, disconnected and frankly kind of judge-y (read ‘mean girl"‘). I vowed then, if I ever got the chance to have my own MedSpa it would be a cozy, inclusive and positive space. Since then I have been extremely grateful for the opportunity to share confidence growing procedures with my community“

In her free time Kia loves to travel the world with her family (Portugal is her favorite thus far). She is plant obsessed, its a problem. She is a proud full-grown Disney adult. She also enjoys hunting for treasures at local flea markets, being borderline obnoxious in the stands at her daughter’s gymnastic meets and cozying up with a cup of chai and a good book.
